ABOUT ARTIST
„I search for the infinite diversity of being and the openness to form shows me the way.
And today I know everything is possible! “
Friedrich Sebastian Feichter once had a dream. An energy appears to him, lights appear to him. Radiant entities that have almost completely detached themselves from matter. Only their long, slender legs still elegantly connect them to the stony ground on which they stand.
The artist calls his solar entities “Homo Solaris”. People of the sun.
They have long been an established concept in the contemporary art scene and they are admired in many places: whether on the peaks, the Passo Valparola in the Dolomites, or in the baroque hall of Mochental Castle or at art fairs and in galleries at home and abroad.
Friedrich Sebastian Feichter (1962) is a trained wood carver from South Tyrol.
